During the Tokyo Olympics there have been so many resilient performances, acts of courage and demonstrations of leadership that rival and arguably surpass most commercial organisations and leaders.
But when the competition ends, so does the goal they have focused on for so long. That has been their driving force on a daily basis. The build up is intense and for many the aftermath is flat, especially for those choosing to retire from their sport. Their daily routine will be significantly changed.
